It's amazing how quickly life fly's by. One moment, I'm working on the first book in a new series, the next I'm working on the fourth. Yes, it really has been a few months since I've blogged, and yet, I'm still writing away. For the first time ever, I've had a series that's selling very well. It's slowed right down this month, but with book three coming out next week, I'm excited to see it boost again.
For three years, I've been writing full time. I've scrimped and saved in order to be able to afford to live in that time. And, finally, I'm earning a living. I hope it lasts, because the rewards of 3 years of hard work are well worth the effort. It might take years to achieve results, but I'm proof that if you don't give up, if you analyse what's working and what isn't, you'll reach your goal.
I'm so grateful to every single one of my readers. I'm also very thankful for other authors who have supported me and shared my books. I couldn't have done it without any of you.
So, it's back to the writer's board. Time to knuckle down so I can get this series finished. It's the first time I've aimed to finish a series in one go. Wish me luck!
PS. That's me in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was kind of a research trip for book four!
